This reel is also perfectly protected by its sealed 9+1 steel ball bearings, sealed drag system, lightweight and strong aluminum body, and carbon composite rotor.
But its ability to withstand saltwater permanently isn't its only advantage: It also features our unique Friction Control System 3 drag system, which houses multiple washers – one fiberglass and one carbon fiber on each side! This gives the washers unmatched rigidity, resulting in extremely smooth and powerful drag. Additionally, the washers can be used on both sides, significantly extending their service life.
