The new, lightweight airdrive rotor reduces starting resistance when cranking. The overall weight of the reel is reduced and the balance of the reel is shifted more towards the rear by reducing the weight in the front unit. This ensures, among other things, better balance on the rod, more sensitivity and better casting performance.The roller body made of Zaion V material ensures that the Tough Digigear gear is supported in a torsion-proof manner and ensures long-lasting smooth running. The new Airdrive bracket is lighter than before, extremely resilient and, in conjunction with the new bracket arm, there are significantly fewer tangles when casting.
The ATD Type-L brake releases the line under load without high initial resistance and ensures a lot of safety even when fighting a capital. The Longcast ABS spool made of aluminum has an optimized release edge that ensures less friction and longer casting distances.
The Twistbuster III construction on the line roller ensures that braided line in particular is not flattened when winding and that there is less twist. The CNC milled aluminum crank is screwed tightly into the reel body and has almost no play.
Equipment note:
Sizes 1000 to 2000 are supplied with an I-shape crank knob, sizes 2500 to 5000 with a T-shape crank knob.
