Catfire Feeder

DThe latest update of the popular catfish feeder rod, the Catfire Feeder was designed for bottom fishing with natural bait and pellets in partnership with our catfish specialist, Jens Köller. To achieve extra speed, and get better casting distances, the spines of the rods have been reinforced with a 3K carbon-mesh fabric. We have also done a little work on the interchangeable tips. There is now a medium-heavy tip part for use in stillwater, and a heavy tip part for use in rivers and currents. These are excellent all-rounders for difficult bottom fishing for catfish and similar.

Catfire Vertical

A rod designed especially for vertical fishing for catfish from a boat. The agile blank has enormous reserves of power to tire the fish rapidly when playing, and bring it securely to the surface. A highly sensitive tip reliably signals even tentative nibbles and allows the catfish to take the bait without any resistance. The lightweight blank means the rod can be held comfortably in the hand without any problems, even over long periods.

Catfire Vertical Heavy Inliner

This more powerful version of the Catfire Vertical has no guides. The advantage of inline rods is that, because there are no guides and the line runs through the interior, the blank bends noticeably more uniformly under loading, which means more fun when playing the fish. There is also reduced risk under full loading of a guide frame getting pressed into the blank and causing the rod to break. The action of the rod is similar to that of the Catfire Vertical, but the Heavy Inliner has an appreciably stronger spine. This is the perfect rod for when the hunt is on for big cats.
