The Airdrive revolution now also in the 25 Caldia!
The 25 Caldia optimizes the performance and quality that have made it famous over the years and takes this series to a new level: exceptional lightness, outstanding workmanship and durability, and, last but not least, a sleek and elegant design.
The reel body continues to be constructed from a Zaion V monocoque shell, and the reel features almost all of the technological innovations that characterize the Airdrive design concept. These technological innovations were first introduced in the top-of-the-line 22 Exist series and gradually expanded to other series. Now, the Caldia has also been equipped with the Airdrive design in terms of the rotor, spool, bail, and line roller.
The new Airdrive rotor ensures silky-smooth action and optimal feel.
The drag has also changed compared to the previous model: The ATD Type-L drag is extremely delicate and sensitive, cushioning sudden fish escapes and braking more effectively.
The new 5000 series models have been added to the Caldia series and feature a drag designed for tougher conditions: an ATD Tough with carbon discs, specifically designed to better handle large and powerful escapes.

Handle Knob
The FC 1000S, FC 2000S, and 2500S-XH sizes come with an I-shaped handle knob, while the 2500, 3000, 3000-XH, 4000-C, and 5000-C sizes come with a T-shaped handle knob.
Drag System
Sizes up to 4000 are equipped with the ATD Type-L Drag system, while size 5000 features the ATD Tough Drag system.
