The Obsidian is an extremely lightweight carp reel made from Okuma's C-40X carbon - the durable yet lightweight graphite. The lightweight and ergonomic feel is perfected by the ultra-lightweight spool and the main shaft's zero-friction design, which eliminates resistance when cranking.
The extremely slow oscillation of the Obsidian, the one-piece bail and the worm shaft gear ensure exceptional line lay and excellent casts.
